What is it

The Strade Bianche is a popular race in Tuscany, starting and finishing in Siena. It?s unique in that it embraces the white gravel roads, characteristic of the Tuscan countryside. The route is predominately on dirt roads, country lanes and farm tracks, twisting through the hills and vineyards of the Chianti region. The original Strade Bianche was created in 1997 and the race has since gained prestige. This is the perfect competition of sporting competition combined with outstanding natural beauty.
