Back in 2016, I was your typical bloke and didn't run at all. On a whim I entered a Santa Dash 5K in Liverpool and by the time I crossed the finish line, the running bug had me. Since then, my passion for running has led me to lots more races and runs - including the London Marathon and 99 parkruns around the UK and beyond (thanks lockdown!) I have also fully qualified as a coach with UK Athletics. Alongside my qualifications, I have learned some lessons the hard way about how to be a better runner. Although I've packed a lot in over the past few years - and bought more running shoes than I have ever done before as a result - I'm still the same normal person who loves going for a run.
