My name is Alice, I'm Italian and 32 yrs old. I've been in London 5 years now. I like teaching yoga because of the human connection with people. The mind-body connection is something we all have in common as humans. In these times of covid, where everyone's wellness and mental health has been challenged, yoga practice can be of extreme help for everyone. I like affecting people's lives and help them reconnect to themselves. I teach vinyasa yoga, a flow sequence of postures with focus on body & breath awareness. I like slowing the pace down, breaking postures down and using props to facilitate students' learning. I want yoga to be accessible to everyone. I cultivate a mindful approach to the practice. As yoga teacher I am easy, approachable, funny, not judging, gentle and reassuring. My tutor Jean Hall said I have an "authentic style, sensitive, thoughtful and genuinely caring".

My classes generally follow this structure: initial relaxation and tuning in with breathing exercise, warming up postures (laying down or sitting), standing postures with peak pose, cooling down (with more sitting and laying down) till the closing with final relaxation and a few minutes short meditation. The sequence of postures are thought to gradually and naturally build the peak posture. I like to use props (bricks, foam blocks, bolsters, straps, chairs) to help approach postures more gently. The pace of my teaching is slow to facilitate the learning process of the student but also to encourage a mindful and present practice. I like to offer modifications or alternatives to postures if appropriate. My focus is on body and breath awareness. I guide students to anchor their practice to their breath as they move their body through different postures. This helps the shift of the nervous system from fight/fly response to a more relaxed and calm state of mind but also helps to move into a posture more gradually. I invite my students to cultivate attention, focus and curiosity to their physical sensations as they practice.

Our zero-tolerance policy
We cannot express how important your safety is to us therefore we have implemented a strict zero-tolerance policy. If any of the below rules are found to be broken, we will take immediate action by issuing warnings and banning accounts.
Abusive behaviour - Any abuse in either verbal and physical form between coaches and clients; this includes, bullying, racism and hate speech.
Authenticity - Misrepresentation will break the trust of our community. Make sure all the details and information you provide about yourself are truthful.
Breaking Commitments – If consistent behaviour is shown in not delivering a service that was promised.
Reliability - Coaches should ensure the facilities they provide reach industry standards.
Taking clients off the platform - If a coach is found to take business off our platform their account will be immediately suspended.
Unresponsiveness – If coaches fail to communicate with clients after three warnings they will be removed from the platform.
