My name is Jenna Elsie and I've been teaching yoga for two years now. I was intiailly drawn to yoga for some of the common reasons like wanting to increase strength and flexbility and generally feel better in myself. What I didn't expect to get out of it was EVERYTHING ELSE, the meditation, the mindfulness, the equilibrium your mind and body achieves when you slow down. This aspect of yoga is what I really fell in love with, my favourite kind of flows are mindful hatha flows where the focus is slowing down and synchronising movement to breath. I like to ensure that my classes are suitable for all levels of yoga, I want people to have fun with it and not take themselves so seriously. I teach yoga because I think if everyone were to take at least some aspects of yoga into their daily life then we would all become much more content people.
