I am a yoga and meditation instructor with an inclusive teaching style that aligns with the present moment. I have travelled and taught internationally, and enjoy working with all kinds of people, at all different levels. My own dedicated yoga practice emerged from my experience as a young gymnast, and from my experience studying Karate and Zen Buddhism. Yoga is an integral part of my life that I want to share with others around the world. Wellness, creativity and holistic living also support my interest in yoga. I have worked within the natural health industry for over eight years and have a Master's of Research in Creative Practices. I am also a practicing fine artist. My work focuses on positive psychology, finding clarity, and experimentation. I love to have fun while working hard to achieve great things! I hope to inspire others to do the same.
Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga/Meditation Instructor 200Hr
As a Jr athlete, I played competitive tennis leading my team to the state semi-finals in Indiana, USA. As an adult, I have focused on holistic wellness. Due to various injuries over many years, I have had to give up running and most high-intensity training. This was a big blow to my confidence levels and lifestyle routine. I made drastic changes to keep my fitness levels up without further injuring myself. I now enjoy walking 3-4 hours a day (10-15 miles) and have been practicing yoga daily for over 20 years. Mindfulness and meditation also play a central role in my daily wellness routine. I graduated from the Seasonal Yoga Academy in 2017 with a 200Hr Yoga Alliance Certification in instructing yoga and meditation. I also formed the Seasonal Yoga Outreach Program for the studio and worked as the Outreach Coordinator during my training in 2016/17.
