I'm an Olympic weightlifting athlete and coach with a passion for inspiring people to get involved with strength sports. I've been working as a coach for the past four years, previous to this I had a career as an engineer and this has carried over to an interest in biomechanics. I like to optimise movement patterns and I believe that everyone, athlete or not, needs structured strength and conditioning to keep them fit and healthy throughout their lives.

I transitioned from dance to weightlifting via a knee injury. I represented my university on the varsity dance team but a recurring knee injury led me to the gym for rehabilitation, where I discovered a passion for strength training and a proclivity for Olympic weightlifting. The highlight of my time in the sport so far was my bronze medal at the London and South East Open competition in winter 2019.
