Firstly, it is better to know the person rather than the professional. I am down to earth, easy to reach, approachable person. Born and bred in South West Wales in Llanelli. I first started my journey as a Sport Psychologist when I ruptured my ACL playing for my regional rugby team. I felt at the time (almost 10 years ago) that there was no support, nobody involved that I can turn to. I felt that there was nobody there to; (1) be 'that' shoulder, or (2) support me psychologically through the unfortunate circumstances I found myself in. Since then, I have a B.Sc. Sport and Physical Education degree, M.Sc. In applied sport psychology, in my final stages of British association of Sport exercise science (BASES) sport psychology supervision, and have had a range of experiences from individual athletes to team sports; beginners to world class athletes. I assure you that I am able to communicate complicated information to something that is easily digestible. My goal is always to provide you with the tools to continue without my help.

In my 7 years of experience of working within elite environments, it has developed my working philosophy as a sport psychologist. Whilst I am more than aware that improving performance is important, understanding the athletes holistically and ensuring that their wellbeing is not only considered but enhanced is very important in my consultancy work.
