I am willing to travel to client's homes or offices. I also offer online classes via Zoom.
What will the clients be doing? Depending on the needs and abilities of each client, I offer a variety of practices and styles of Yoga. I am qualified to teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Anusara, Yin, Wheel and Pregnancy Yoga as well as Meditation, Pranayama and Yoga Nidra. My intention is to align the body optimally so that energy moves freely and strength, flexibility and clarity of awareness increases. Each class has an apex pose and is designed in a way that prepares the body and teaches the actions necessary towards that apex pose. There is a balance between holding poses and playing with creative flowing sequences. I use props as a way to explore certain actions and to ensure each student practices safely and with integrity. I always end each session with breathing exercises, relaxation or meditation. How will you coach them? The way that I teach is mainly through verbal instruction as well as through demonstrating some poses for clarity. I design each class according to each student’s intention. During in-person group classes I attend to each student individually with verbal and/ or gentle and optional physical adjustments. This way, the students can achieve greater awareness in each pose, optimize breath control, and experience the benefits of each pose or practice.
