I am a dedicated yogi and have been practicing for 10 years, and teaching for almost 4 years now.
I initially trained with Molly Cofman, Wade Gotwals and Massimo Cantara, certificated as a 200 hours Hatha Yoga Teacher in 2017, which incorporate principles of shiatsu, traditional Chinese medicine, nutrition and other holistic modalities. In 2020 I completed a 33hr Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Anna Ashby at Triyoga.
I teach a variety of styles: Power (dynamic), Vinyasa, Slow Flows and Restorative Yoga.
I have experience teaching advanced practitioners; people hard of hearing; injured folks - back, shoulder, neck; people with scoliosis, sciatica, arthritis; menstruating women; folks with mood disorders; toddlers and teens. Every teacher bring their own unique style and energy, but perhaps this particular experience with different people sets me apart from others.
Outside of yoga I am passionate about many things! I enjoy running and cycling - I'm doing my first triathlon in September 2021! I 'm a keen women's rights supporter - running my own company based on women's empowerment; I enjoy dancing and participating in many spiritual pursuits; I love reading and practice yoga every morning, and having grown up in the Peaks, I do a spot of bouldering and climbing.

I would encourage people to invest in their own yoga mat and props, but I am happy to supply a mat, strap and bricks, and bolster for restorative yoga.
I offer group and 1:2:1 classes (and private couples yoga). I enjoy teaching both and have lovely loyal students. I am trained in Hatha yoga encompassing Vinyasa, Power (Dynamic) and Restorative. I like to practice and teach with the spiritual aspect of yoga included - meaning that we will listen to your body and work intuitively together - knowing when to push forward, and when to be more mindful. For instance, sometimes it is beneficial, even in yoga, to break into a sweat and push your physical boundaries. Other-times it is better to approach the practice more mindfully. For that reason I say I teach 'Hatha' because I don't want us to be bound to a singular style, when on one particular day a different style may better suit your practice. Yoga will help you to have a stronger body and we will actively work together on awakening your spine, building your strength, stability and flexibility. But it can also help to sooth anxiety and low moods, boost energy and self confidence, and generate a secure sense of self awareness. For those who feel happy and safe to receive, I will use physical touch via hands on adjustments/ assistance in poses. Consent with physical touch will always be an open and calming question - there is no pressure to accept and neither is there any judgement if you want alllllll the touch - we're all different! I also like to use essential oils to aid relaxation.

Profile assessment - Every coach who applies to list on our site goes through assessment before approval. This assessment includes background checks and qualification evaluation.
Reviews - Our community is built on transparency, therefore reviews for both clients to coaches and coaches to clients enforces this.
Fraud prevention - Our site provides the capabilities to be able to communicate with coaches through our instant messaging system and pay for sessions securely. This reduces the possibility of fraud. This minimises the possibility of becoming a victim of fraud.
Details covered - We strive for coaches to provide as much information as possible about their sport or wellness activity to ensure the user knows what a session entail.

Our zero-tolerance policy
We cannot express how important your safety is to us therefore we have implemented a strict zero-tolerance policy. If any of the below rules are found to be broken, we will take immediate action by issuing warnings and banning accounts.
Abusive behaviour - Any abuse in either verbal and physical form between coaches and clients; this includes, bullying, racism and hate speech.
Authenticity - Misrepresentation will break the trust of our community. Make sure all the details and information you provide about yourself are truthful.
Breaking Commitments – If consistent behaviour is shown in not delivering a service that was promised.
Reliability - Coaches should ensure the facilities they provide reach industry standards.
Taking clients off the platform - If a coach is found to take business off our platform their account will be immediately suspended.
Unresponsiveness – If coaches fail to communicate with clients after three warnings they will be removed from the platform.
